Written about us: The second SEVER-1435 vehicle for ŽSR
Last year, the Slovak infrastructure manager began using the first of two new motorized diagnostic vehicles, with deliveries overseen by NDCon LOGIC, Prague, and XML Team, Bratislava.
In August of last year (see ŽM 8/23, p. 8), ŽSR received a two-part unit referred to as DV NDT, which stands for Diagnostic Vehicle for Non-Destructive Testing. This unit is part of a contract signed in December 2019, followed in January 2020 by a contract for a four-axle motorized vehicle, DV GPK (Diagnostic Vehicle for Track Geometry Measurement).
Both of these vehicles were designed by the Moscow-based company TVEMA and are derived from its SEVER family; however, in this case, it is the SEVER-1435 version, clearly indicating the area of intended use. We discussed the DV NDT unit, which carries the commercial name SEVER-1435 TWIN, as well as related technical and commercial aspects, in detail in ŽM 4/23 on pages 47 - 49. This time, we will briefly focus on DV GPK, as its delivery to ŽSR is expected in the near future.
